Sex On The Rise On TV
The Kaiser Family Foundation has just released the findings from their study that 75% of the shows on prime time TV deal with sex. So are these findings really a surprise? I don’t think so! I mean on many shows, in a lot of commercials and even the daily news channels, sex is discussed.
They also indicated that teen shows seem to have the most sex. So is this bad? Research indicates that due to the fact that these shows discuss sexual topics and issues, teens are more sexually aware and therefore, teen pregnancy is on the decline.
There’s nothing wrong with sex and nudity on TV. I’d rather see a naked body in all it’s beauty than some of the gruesome film of soldiers, people that they show on the news to grab news headlines. Nudity seems to be banned on prime time TV, but not such scenes. Does this make sense?
